• Quiz answers: Information you provide during the quiz, including your dietary preferences, health goals, activity level, age range, and any conditions you disclose (e.g., PCOS, thyroid issues). This data is used solely to generate your meal plan.
• Name and email address: Collected when you request your meal plan to be delivered by email. Providing your name and email is voluntary.
• Usage data: Standard web analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate geographic region (country/city). This data is anonymous and aggregated.
• Cookies: We use cookies for analytics purposes only. See Section 6 for details.

We do not collect payment information. SlimStart is free and we do not process any transactions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate and deliver your personalized 7-day meal plan.
• Send you your meal plan and any follow-up emails you have opted into (e.g., weekly tips, new plan updates).
• Improve the quiz and meal plan recommendations based on aggregate usage patterns.
• Monitor site performance and fix technical issues.

We do not use your personal information for advertising profiling or sell it to any third party.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

SlimStart does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party under any circumstances. We do not participate in data brokerages. Your information exists solely to help us provide you with the service.

4. Email Marketing and Unsubscribing

If you provide your email address, you may receive emails from SlimStart, including:

• Your personalized meal plan delivery.
• Optional follow-up content such as nutrition tips, new plan types, or motivational check-ins (only if you opted in).

Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will immediately remove you from our mailing list. You can also request removal by emailing us at hello@slimstart.net.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies on SlimStart for the following purposes:

• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors navigate the site (pages visited, traffic sources, session duration). This data is anonymized and not linked to any personal identity.
• Session/functional cookies: May be used to remember your quiz progress within a single session. These expire when you close your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the quiz.

We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate SlimStart:

• Email delivery platform: We use a third-party email service provider to deliver meal plans and newsletters. Your email address and name are shared with this provider solely for this purpose.
• Web analytics: We use an analytics tool (such as Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative) to understand site usage. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
• Hosting: Our site is hosted on a cloud platform. All data is stored in secure data centers.

These service providers are contractually obligated not to use your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.

We retain your email address and name for as long as you are an active subscriber or until you request deletion. Quiz response data is retained in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our recommendations. We do not retain personally identifiable quiz responses beyond what is necessary to generate and send your meal plan.

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data. We will honor deletion requests within 14 business days.
• Export: Request a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
